Associations between haircut and steak are not sensory in their nature says Stevens. Quite obvious but that does not require some complex structural and semantic configurations that need to be deciphered. Just add the adjective "unsatisfactory" to both and the relationship will become obvious. I presume it is less cortical and more limbic, to put it crudely, Emotional. As ever and always Darwin wins!
