R. I. P. Roscoe Born. Played a hell of a villian, but one of the nicest guys you could ever meet in person.

The comment that Mitch made about having a weakness for red heads cracked me up. 😅😅 For those of you who weren't watching in "80". He was involved with Natalie's aunt Tina. They were try to get their hands on the Lord fortune by trying to cause Viki go insane.😅😅😅😅

OMG Mitch’s alive! 😲 Awesome entrance. Great writing bringing mitch back from the dead and revealing he was the master behind it all but shame jared had to be killed off. Poor Natalie.

This reminded me of the movie scream w/ how Jessica screams seeing nash's corpse ( so creepy ) & jared begging jesse to let him in but she doesnt trust him just like billy & stu in scream.

TFP I have no idea what is happening here, I just came to watch Roscoe Born (loved him on Santa Barbara) Robert Barr one of my favourite characters of all time. I am disappointed they type cast him as a one dimension villain on saying that screen loves him and he is brilliant, some of the young ones should have asked him for some acting advise. lol
@marvinmoore20805 жыл бұрын
he was on All my children too and he was a villain on that too and the Young and the restless he also a villain who was know ass Tom Fisher

I don't know about typecast (maybe in later years), but Nick Rivers on The City was a decent man... and Joe Novak (despite who he was), died trying to do the right thing. Then of course, there was Robert Barr. But out of all the roles... Mitch just had to be the best one. Sure, he was kinda one-dimensional... but lets face it. He wasn't like other villains who were psychotically imbalanced. This man was TRULY evil. P.S. R.I.P. Roscoe Born

@NM1Raider Mitch was one hell of a villain and Roscoe was one hell of an actor. No disrespect to you, but my statement simply meant that he did have range to him and his talent didn't deserve to be pigeon-holed... something that the entertainment business does a lot of. Fun fact though, when he played a dead beat dad for both Greg Rikaart's and Darin Brooks's characters, both those gentlemen won Emmys.

@NM1Raider Thank you for that, and yes, I was excited when he came back to OLTL as well. I understand why people play villains more than heroes because there's a lot more "meat to chew" for the actor in a villain role. If you play the hero and the hero does at least one thing wrong, then it's totally "out of character," the same with real life how people would acknowledge the bad instead of the good. I hope Roscoe is at peace though.

That's because he is brilliant as a villain and i honestly prefer him playing a villain than a good guy because i feel he does it much better and more convincing. And i agree with the other that Mitch was truly evil villain compared to many other soap villains who tries too much to be like some super villain from 007. Mitch seems more realistic.
