Wow Mitch did a jump from 80s to 90s and now does the DnB jungle and break stuff.

@@servant_of_light Ambient DnB started early 90s. This track has vibes of late 90s early 00s. Ironically, I moved from this to what became synthwave mid to late 00s.

Anything that was produced famously on a Tracker he dabbles in. He uses Renoise as his primary DAW.

Idk the genre history precisely, but I know New Retro Wave lasting almost over a decade during 10's is probably on the downhill, and at the very late 10's early 20's DnB and breakcore just started to show up and gain popularity. DnB is not a stranger in 2000s either, so I guess we are partially jumped over 90s and are in retro y2k now??? Also we are close to a time of New Retro Wave being a New Retro Wave or something. Weird stuff. Everlasting retrospective.

Omg Mitch Murder has started making jungle? Dreams really do come true.
@wowsnav6 ай бұрын
It's D&B if white people are making it, jungle is a black genre. We named it that because white people called our music "jungle bunny music" so it was a way to disempower their word. D&B came after jungle, from white people removing the black roots of the music due to racism.
@TheLeoBianco16 ай бұрын
@@wowsnav so just to be correct you want whites calling it DnB yeah?
@HayenMill6 ай бұрын
@@wowsnav not everything is race-fueled. Is neurofunk also a racist subgenre compared to the old DnB?
@wowsnav6 ай бұрын
@@HayenMill Yes, just like D&B neurofunk is white people trying as hard as they can to separate themselves from the blackness of Jungle music, because they -really- don't like us.
@ASMRipz5 ай бұрын
@@wowsnav what a load of horse shite, it's got nothing to do with race, stop trying to make everything somehow linked to black vs white, it's fucking boring. Jungle and drum & bass are different because they are different sub genres - jungle has a totally different bassline and totally different amen breakbeat. For the record, this isn't jungle - it's Liquid.

"I was surprised that a Mitch Murder song gave me the displeasure that is even briefly being exposed to the thoughts of Roger Scruton," and other statements I never expected to say. Great song and video though, even if I have a pet peeve for Roger Scruton and that damnable L. H. Keay line (even if I think he otherwise has a few decent observations otherwise).

There is at least two or three areas in every British town and city that look like this. It’s a shame in a way it was designed to be the housing if the future but was doomed from the start, buildings were ugly and quickly devolved into hotbeds of crime and poverty, and being made out of concrete means most didn’t have much of a shelf life either. Some still knocking about, some have even been rejuvenated and I’ve always been a fan of brutalism. Great work as always, fantastic music and a great video to go with, really evokes the feeling of the song as well as a history of these interesting structures.
