I absolutely love the "laboritoire" sketch! Right down the arody of a rough northern businessman David plays. :DDD

The Garnier Laboratoire sketch always makes me laugh, I have seen a few instances of Americans mistaking a characters Yorkshire accent for a French one online.
@StamfordBridge4 жыл бұрын
Americans frequently can’t distinguish various other Anglophone accents, but mistaking a Yorkshire accent for French sounds highly unlikely to me.

Smokey Robinson I am an American but born in England, dual citizen, plenty of exposure to the various Commonwealth accents, etc., so I’ve had a lot of witnessing of American confusion on this point, but it’s usually confusing the various Anglophone accents around the world. Yorkshire taken for French? Not saying it’s impossible, but I’m dubious - other than some extremely rare fluke.
