Ironically the writer of the sitcom who creates the lines for the character who has read "stalingrad" doesn't actually know anything about stalingrad judging by the lines he wrote for the character that had supposedly read the book "stalingrad". So the writer, the actor and the character all know very little about the battle.

Sketch comedy is one of the cheapest things you can possibly make. And it's all paid for by the license fee, not to mention the all the money they get by reselling what's already been bought and paid for to other countries. If they STILL can't pay the bills without relying on dvd sales, it speaks more of chronic mismanagement and financial incompetence than it does of changing viewer habits. It's the same with videogames, where multi billion dollar companies never stop bitching and whining about how they can't cover development costs without unethically nickel and diming the consumer to death and pushing gambling addictions onto literal children, despite selling tens of millions of copies at extortionate prices. How about you scale back the ludicrous budgets that you apparently can't afford, rather than blaming absolutely everybody but yourself for your own brain dead decisions.
@purpleheart30366 ай бұрын
Dude its just a comedy sketch it wasnt real ....
@rooty6 ай бұрын
@@purpleheart3036 the joke is based o an actual problem, that's what makes it funny. Otherwise it would be a non-sequitur. There is actually a budgeting problem at the BBC (which is why they had to axe BBC 3 etc). That's the whole premise of the sketch.
