My headcanon is that in this song, Miku and Kaito are time travelers that got stuck in 1690, and use their modern-age knowledge, technology, and bright colored outfits to put on dance shows with Miku as the star. They explode in popularity, and Kaito is a shrewed merchent type that easily makes even more money with these shows. Together they get super rich and famous as they inevitably destroy the timeline with their distruption of the culture and economy. I imagine this song is sort of like the montage of them doing all this.
