For anyone struggling with running your app when you add a firebase package, heres some quick solutions: For Auth package:- you need to be on an updated xcode or it will tell you to set a higher version of ios. Quick fix update xcode, might also need to update mac os version For the rest of the issues: Flutter clean, flutter pub get, delete podfile.lock, pod repo update('cd ios' folder first), if this doesn't work sometimes you might need to uncomment the second line in podfile, make sure podfile.lock is deleted and run pod install('cd ios' folder first)

Hello, I need help, can you guide me? Is it possible to scan the user's fingerprint and then store it in a string variable or any type that can be compared with a new fingerprint whenever needed? This is an application for registering the entry and exit of employees of a group

When you the user makes a fingerprint scan, let it generate a barcode, remove the string generated from the barcode and store as the variable.

Hi. I encounter this issue when I was coding along this video on the second part of the video which is the authentication. I'm unable to configure my flutter project with firebase, I created a firebase project and i downloaded the firebase cli but after that I am unable to do anything else.

When I try to connect an android app to my firebase I don't know which build.gradles to change and also when I installed the firebase cli its connecting to my firebase but when I try to actually connect my flutter project to it I'm not able to set up like any firebase features when i run firebase init.

Not sure who else is having this issue but after cloud_firestore v 5.0.0 I cannot build anymore using the Xcode ios simulator. I have tried updating the platform version in my Runner, running Flutter clean, updating my plist file, restarting my computer. I even tried downgrading to an older version of the firestore pub package and it fails every time. Not sure how to fix this but definitely a bummer. Going to have to either use a different database or only use Android until I figure this out.

Many people who say “it doesnt work” later told me that they didn’t follow the tutorial carefully. Also, this is part of your learning too! Try to be more specific instead of “error still exists”. What does the error say exactly?? Can you see the chats stored in firebase? ❤️ you got this!!

There are no errors. When I begin the debug process, it indicates that the app is being installed. However, when I check the emulator, the app opens briefly and then crashes. The debug console confirms that the app is being installed.
