Que nostalgia me da recordar de este hermoso bus ,que me llevaba al hospital,siempre caliente el asiento en la parte de atras ya que alli se encontraba el motor ...lindos recuerdos ,lindo bus.

As a kid, I wanted to be a bus driver The local requirements were, you had to be white, you had to be male and you had to be 6 ft. tall. Well, I passed the first two requirements but never got even close to 6' tall.

Love how it revs but doesn't go anywhere lol!! Armstrong steering looks pretty light to me. Beautiful old timer.

It's because it's a two stroke engine, it's sounds like it's at a higher RPM than it really is.

This reminds me of bus number 143 142 502 503 519 531 my school days our transportation and downtown also joyriding with friends then I became a bus driver for 42 years smile

This looks like the bus they always showed at the beginning of the Mary Tyler Moore Show, just before she throws up her hat. Same colors.

Not to mention by 1970, when that show premiered, it was beyond the tenth anniversary of the FISHBOWL bus and Flxible's near knockoff thereof! Amazing how long Fishbowl like (GM's actual and Flxiblke';s), and even the old looks have survbived in some transits, in collectors, and till 1980 in transit service for the Old looks! Just less than 15 years ago I saw one of those here in Califonria being towed..and I may have seen some elsewhere, even if not in revenue service...oh..and the above video,too,whcih is from 2016!
