Fun fact: Pickman's gallery is a reference to the H.P. Lovecraft shortstory Pickman's Model which was about an artists who's paintings of creatures was so life like, and horrific, that you had to believe he was painting from actual life.

1:43 surprised you didn't mention the "blood can" sitting there that was used to make the painting. For me the scariest location in the game is just in front of Faneuil Hall. I'm on Xbox and my game crashes about 25% of the time I walk by there.

I've got an 85% success rate of crashes there. The remaining is during an attempted quick save before going through the door. I just ignore all quests telling me to go there.

Faneuil Hall is in the Boston area, that WHOLE area is still notorious for crashing even on PC, not even unmodded is safe from crashes 80% of the time, something to do with how the engine not being able to handle what the devs put in there (the engine quite literally can't handle it all at once as the devs pushed it a little too far without a care really)

@@TheInsaneShecklador Yep, you can have all the prettiness you want in a packed city but if the engine can't handle it you'll have major issues... Do keep in mind that the engine FO4 uses is basically an upgraded Gamebryo engine (that engine is the basis of the Creation engine and even uses code from it) that was used for Morrowind, Oblivion, FO3 and New Vegas so naturally it can only be pushed so far.

the "mystery mansion" is a rip off of the real world Winchester Mystery Mansion, the only difference is nobody was murdered at Winchester, but Sarah did go quite insane and built hundreds of rooms to nowhere.

This isn’t actually true. She did build a large and elaborate house, she inherited an unreal amount of money and just kept building. But an earthquake did a lot of damage and instead of building back as it was before she just left some things as they were, and moved forward. And that’s why there are some weird features like the door on an upper floor that opened outside to nothing but thin air. Weird but not insane trying to confuse ghosts. They opened the house as an attraction like a year after she died and I’m sure the rumor helped sell tickets.

Records show that she boarded up a huge portion of the house and kept building, so things didn’t line up with the new parts of the home but she kept on building. Beautiful house if you get a chance to see inside! All the rumors are a shame, she wasn’t crazy, she was just lonely and had too much money

@@thoughtsofanobody she kept building because she believed her spiritualist who told her there were thousands of victims as a result of her husbands guns ( the Winchester Rifle) and they wanted revenge. The solution given to her was to build a maze of sorts to confuse these ghosts and prevent them from harming her. She went insane after her husband and child died , leaving her with the millions her husband earned from the sales of his rifles. She felt the money was evil and the only way to rid herself of the sadness was to keep building. Yes several earthquakes damaged the building , but the real reason behind the constant building was the ghosts.

She was a very rich widow in the early 1900s who wanted nothing to do with her other rich neighbors, of course someone was gonna start some rude rumors. *gasp* “Sarah doesn’t want to interact with me, ME!?, she must be insane!” This reaction and commentary from the locals is pretty common for women who lived outside of societal norms, especially at a time when those norms were more narrow than they are today. Men get labeled “eccentric”, but women are just “crazy”. Even the other person in this comment thread who worked at the house (and the person writing her biography, if I'm remembering correctly) said the rumors about her sanity aren't true. Just cause you read/heard one version of a story first, doesn't make it fact.

Warren Theatre was pretty terrifying fr, i used to crawl when get into a building, after going up on theathre floor i notice the stealth indicator going up & down drasticly. I wonder what's in this place cuz it's feels so quiet. I stopped at audience chair looking around then realized there's gen 2 blends in on the mannequin. Gen 2 without armor & everything he's literally looks like a mannequin

Dunwich for sure, then fens because you have to look at all the stuff and realize these are people they killed. Bunch of strollers who had moms or dads and were presumed victims and more, pick and is an artistic loon cleaning up the commonwealth of raiders but sure he’s a little off. I personally think the scariest place is where Preston is holed up trying to get you into the building all kinds of ways just to torture you throughout the game with his looks, comments and errand boy tasks.

The grand Chester mystery mansion What makes it creepier for me is when I first ever played fallout4 during the fort Hagen mission with dog meat searching for Kellogg that part with the stunned yaoi beat I killed the bear and the little girl was there on the tracks just frozen. Also "creepy" place is that club in Boston you can find filled with skeletons place is pristine and clean (mostly) very fancy furniture around it's location of some kind of gentleman club of some sort where all the memebers committed suicide by drinking poison before the bombs fell gives very creepy vibe discovering the whole story even tho there is no actual dangers there

#7 I just Played today and I actually had to fight a legendary death claw. Let's just say I was beyond happy.I picked up a rocket launcher at random on the groand plenty of rockets 😅😅 My brother's laughing at me hearing me scream.Oh no oh no over and over 😂😂 Thankful. Ly I found a spot I could jump up at and if I kept jumping up against the wall.Non stop the deaf claw couldn't hit me and I shot the rockets without getting splash damage to myself. Most useful 13 rockets. I ever used.
