What size of slanted notched trowel you have used? 3/8 or 1/2?
@TileProUSA Жыл бұрын
For 24×48 you need to use a 1/2" slant notch trowel. You could buy both sizes at your local Lowe's.

@@TileProUSA Thanks. I am from Europe :-). May I ask you what size of a notched trowel you are using for large porcelain slabs with a side greater than 47 inches (120cm) for substrate and tile?
@TileProUSA Жыл бұрын
@@pawelkulak7133 the recommended notch trowel for large format porcelain tile panels in the United States is the Euro notch trowel. It only comes in one size. You can simply Google the name and see how it looks. I think Sigma makes a similar notch trowel too. In Europe, Mapei recommends using a 1/4" (6 mm) notch trowel on the panel and 3/8" (10 mm) notch on the substrate. In the United States we use more mortar than that. The final thickness of the embedded mortar should be about 5 mm after the panel is installed.

SMH. No one working is actually wearing safety glasses, a mask (for what?) or ear plugs, yet this video stops to Virtue Signal anyways.
