To Doug's Question of the Day: I actually do! I've been talking with this girl who live in the States (I don't, reason for the different country) for a good 5-6 years now. I really didn't have feelings for her until my Discord account got hacked and I ended up losing a server I had made since 2017, which had become the central hub of talking and stuff for a good 6 years. Point is, when I managed to get my account back, I felt like shit for literally losing 6 years worth of memories and good times, and she ended up cheering me up in ways that I really never would've imagined. For the sake of mentioning the main one that tipped me towards liking her, she offered to watch the Star Wars saga movies with me. (For context, she hates Star Wars with a passion, and we had gotten into stupid nerd arguments before about it.) So we ended up doing so, it was a really nice experience as we just watched them pretty casually, and I ended up asking if she would be interested in e-dating. To which she agreed, but only after we met up, since she said I wouldn't like her if I saw her IRL. So, to get to the point (I apologize for the long ass message), I am travelling to the US next summer to meet her IRL (even though I already know what she looks like cause we've video called and stuff) so we can determine if we can make the relationship work or not. Either way, I have one hell of a great friend, and I can't wait to spend a week with her! Been looking forward to it for a year and a half. TL;DR: Having a crush on someone makes you do the wildest things.

Doug's Question of the Day! : Do you plan to visit a different country this year? • Not this year, but hopefully at some point. Traveling just sounds really nice and I think it'd be good to leave the US at least once in my life. There's so many beautiful places and cultures that I'd like to see and connect to at some point in my life. I was with somebody a few years ago that was planning to move to South Korea, and at the time I really liked this person and wanted to go too since they were planning on leaving with or without me. For the 2 years we were together I was studying Korean so I'd be prepared to make the move. We never did, and now I just know a lot about Korean culture and can speak Korean for essentially no reason >w< Maybe South Korea would be a good place to visit😅
