These footages are from MITO MOVIE Part 2, which has not yet been released, but has already been shown in some concerts during the 2022/23 world tour (I think you can find some fancam on KZbin, it looks like it plays during winterfall). Ian has already said that he intends to release part 2 one day

He's going to make a full movie! Ian and his team will go into production in 2025 and it will probably be released in 2026. He said that he intends to release the movie within 2 years and this is going to be DPR's biggest project so far.

Me too! Probably something new... He gave spoilers for the Intro of MITO III and said that the song is about Mito returning to the Emerald City and discovering that Ian - now in the full form of Mr. Insanity - has left the place in ruins, like an apocalypse. In the intro, Mito is fighting his way back up to The Other Side, because there are levels you have to go to get there, and Insanity resides in the upper layers. Mito is finally breaking free from the low dimensions. So, if the movie follows the album, we'll probably get a lot more of what we've seen so far. I think this time he really wants to explore The Other Side, the layers, and he even mentioned creatures…

SKINS was real life MITO reaching out to Ian, and Ian did not edit it, so you don't see thunder and dark wings. MITO was there to protect Ian the whole time.

In those lines about spreading his wings to take him in, I hear him telling Ian what his purpose is: to protect. Then later, when he says he gave up long ago, so Ian could dream it all, that felt so painful, like he sacrificed his own lifetime to absorb whatever trauma came at Ian, so his child mind could avoid whatever horror there was. Finally, when he says he broke down all his doors, I feel he's talking about Ian's mission throughout his adult life to find the memories that MITO locked away, and MITO is telling Ian that it didn't help anything for him to know those traumas, it just hurt them both. Ugh, it all just broke me so hard. 😢

Yes I think they used some videos of MITO movie era. Christian said they usually record all of the ideas they have and then in editing they make the story line, so they must have a lots of unreleased shots that they can use:)))
