This was such an awesome lecture! I was searching for answers to these two questions: 1. A foolproof process to draw a band diagram and 2. What is Fermi level pinning. I am very much satisfied with the answers except for the second one. I would like to understand how accept or and donor type surface states affect the Fermi level pinning?

In highly doped ITO, EF moves near or into the conduction band, so the electrons are mobile and lead to high conductivity.

30:00 interesting that in chemistry everytime you see exponential behaviour, you must think of a barrier for the reaction to go foward.

I guess it is quite randomly asking but do anyone know of a good site to stream new tv shows online ?

@Hugh Ace I would suggest Flixzone. Just search on google for it =)

35:00 silver used for contact metallization at about 10% worldwide. That number would go only up. :-)

On the slide named "Contacts: Schottky Model", should it be "For Schottky contact" rather than "For Ohmic contact"? The work function of metal is larger than that of semiconductor. There is a barrier for electrons to move from semiconductor to metal.
