I was just diagnosed with a mild form of this. What does that mean? my heart specialist want to see me again in 5 years is that normal?

Melissa Norman mitral regurgitation only becomes a problem if you start to develop symptoms like shortness of breath, headache, fluid overload etc. blood is basically finding it hard to move forward and out through the aorta on the left side of the heart.

Melissa Norman: Doctor wants to see you in 5 years? That means the doctor doesn't think there's really anything wrong with you and you're well enough to not be seen for five years! That's fantastic continue with your good health, exercise, eat right, and get enough sleep.

in aortic regurgitation it occur in diastole but in mitral regurgitation occur in systolic why..? aortic regurgitation murmur is better heard in expiration..and why in mitra regurgitation it's not heard during expiration?

Mitral regurgitation happens during systole. The left ventricle is contracting in systole, in order to push the blood all the way up into the aorta through the aortic valve, but the mitral valve should be closed. If the valve dosen' fully close, it will drain the blood back into the left atrium, through the mitral valve. Best regards.
