I love the idea of the trauma she experienced leaving a “pearl in her head”, since clams form pearls to protect themselves from sand that’s bothering them. Unintentionally, they create something beautiful in the process. In this aspect, the “pearl” becomes the song, which is now stuck in my head.

This song with levi is just another type of sad, like (they way I view this song) this song is about trauma and not being able to recover (or recovering slowly but still being affected), and that really is basically Levi’s whole life, considering that he had traumatic events and instances constantly. I imagine this song as for after everything’s finally over and he retires, but still is affected by the people he lost.
