Mitski - Two Slow Dancers (Radio City Music Hall, NYC 7/22/22)

Mitski made her return to the public spotlight after dramatically stepping away for the last few year. The Be the Cowboy Era ended and we were left wondering what was next, if anything. But out of the void came "Laurel Hell" and a brand new tour. Trying to get tickets was madness, but I managed to get an early presale code and got a pretty good aisle seat in DD night one. The person in front of me didn't show which totally helped with getting the perfect view to the stage.
Seats are pricey but they also offer convenience and a relatively stress free pre-show experience. I was able to go out to dinner with friends before the show and then casually grab merch beforehand. What a relief it was to not have to sleep on the street or line up hours earlier. Actually while on line to get in, I was able to grab tickets for also DD for my cousin and myself the following night at a reasonable price.
Overall Mitski did not disappoint and hearing Laurel Hell live was a real treat. I love that piano flair during "Heat Lighting" and seeing it and hearing it live with Mitski's choreography still brings a chill to my spine.

I am so glad I stumbled upon this. This is genuinely one of the best versions of TSD I've heard. I got the privilege of hearing it live last year and god did I cry this song fills me with such emotion. I also got to see her Oct last year and will do again in May and I am so excited for it. I see you've got quite a lot of Mitski on your channel already but any other uploads are 100% welcome. :)

Oh yeah she's amazing live. I have a treasure trove of Mitski footage from over the years. I used to have a lot more views and followers but I got a copyright strike for a shooting Japanese breakfast and Paramore at a New Yorker festival and they cancelled my channel. Check out the performance of TSD at Elsewhere Brooklyn NYC from the Be The Cowboy release show. I guess try and search that on my channel. It was magical
