Announcement: Yesterday, I saw the service elevator in SM City North EDSA The Block, I can’t ride it because it’s too long. For North Towers Mall and The Annex Service Elevators, I can’t ride because it’s for employees only. For The SM Store, I can’t ride because it’s also too long.

@@TrafficLightsAreMyThing Because moreover that lift type in this location is cheaper and low cost than the other lift models it is used the simple design of the car and hall the car and hall operating panels is different and floor indicators are using the one or two digit 7 segment instead of the regular 16 segment indicator in some installations but except for some few lifts in Mexico which is using the one or two digit 16 segment floor indicator instead of the standard 7 segment floor indicator and also for the door controls for this elevator type from Mitsubishi that was installed in the 80s to 90s the door close button is probably optional but mostly does not have the door close button but only the door open button and if you want the lift door closes just wait for a few seconds before the lift door closes

I hope they modernize this since they are currently renovating the building
