My module wasn't working, so i disassembled and cleaned the chip inside with technical alcohol. It worked for me.

Můj modul nefungoval, tak jsem ho rozebral a vyčistil technickým lihem. Po vyčištění funguje.

Thanks for posting. I just removed my bluetooth module in 15min. No more battery drainage. No more calling the locksmith. No more leaving the hood popped open overnight. Thanks again!

@@jaguardelcielo It's a 15 minute removal of the bluetooth module. No more problems. I even left my Lancer GTS parked for 9 days while on vacation. It started up with no issues. Boom.

If on my factory radio says mobile phone error and does not let me connect could that mean that my module has been disconnected? My battery keeps draining

from my research, the hands-free modules failed early. it's very unlikely that any of them have survivied this long. in that your battery drains over the course of a couple of days when parked, it's probable that your bluetooth module is draining it. take it out. @@ericciau4800

Thank you!!!!! The battery was draining in my 2010 Lancer and the faulty Bluetooth module was the cause. It was warm and car was not used for 15 hrs. Battery is holding charge now.

Hi and thanks for the video, I think mine it's not working well because the buttons on steering wheel didn't works... Mine is 2008 CVT one and Rockford fosgate with MMCS e02 ... You know how to reset before buy a new one? And in case I need to replace if I can get any other?

I have lancer 2009 but there is no phone button on the steering wheel, Do I have Bluetooth in my stereo? I have some other buttons on the wheel.

i doubt it, if you have same stereo as i, then there's not BT in it.

Hey why'd you have to take yours out? I have an 08 Lancer ES and I believe mine is faulty (Mobile Phone button on stereo/MMCS, my HDD, is grayed out and when pressing it says "Unable to display due to system error." Someone on a forum says it's likely this module is faulty (mine is part# 8785A003); I'm going to replace it, but concerned my phone might not be compatible (iPhone 7+). What phone are you pairing with yours? Concerned this system/module isn't programmed to pair phones beyond iPhone 6.

My module isn't worked so i take him out, clean and take it back, but it worked about one week so i take him out, because ssome people on forums tells that not working module is draining car battery. My module when not working is still warm so id rather take him out. sorry for my english

Hi! My module only works when its really cold but after 5 minutes working the buttom on the steering wheel dont work, also they ask for a password that I dont have. My question is, if I change the module, always its gonna works and Im gonna have the option of put a New password?

Hi, you mean the cable? simply push it and pull thet cable off or help yourself with screwdriver and push it with it
