Thanx for the video... I for the first time in my 40yrs of living on this earth I changed my own battery usually my Dad or the guys at the auto parts store install it for me... My Dad is sooo proud he said my baby girl knows how to work under the hood of her own car🤣😂... I already know how to change my own oil... My next task will b doing my own brakes... I just went to try and take off that plastic intake piece like shown at the start of the video and it seems the plastic screws are mostly stripped. Also they just spin and spin and dont actually come out. Any suggestions on how to get them off so I can take off that air intake?

@@michelleliddelow8255 I bought a 3 piece fastener remover from amazon and just popped those suckers out and had to totally replace them. Make sure you buy a kit of a bunch of different size fasteners/rivets because it's not a 1 size fits all deal.

I got same issue with the intake. Now I was able to remove the first peace just fine but the second will not come off and I dont see any screws in there. I was to get the new battery in but can not secure it because the intake is in the way Not sure how to get it off without breaking it

I reached under the panel it screws into, gave it a push and was able to get it out. You can do it right from there.

Hello, I have a question - at 3:43 where you place your fingers, there is a small gray clip with a thin wire, that connects to the Negative(ground). Do you know what this wire is?? I live where the weather is very cold and I just accidentally cut/snapped one or many both of those wires. It comes right off the wiring harness... very thin wires, blue and grey.

I figured it out...it was around -1 in the morning and I started car with A/C on so engine started hard....with it turned off there's no problem.
