Me and my cousin halos mag kasabay kame namili ng kotse nauna lang ako ng 3 months sa kanya. Mirage 2013 yun binili ko and vios 2013 naman sa kanya after ng mga ilang years wala naman naging major na sira yun mirage namin mga minor lang at di pa gumagastos ng malaki sa transmission o sa makina. Pero yun sa cousin ko na vios 2019 nasira na yun suspension na di naman nangyari sa mirage namin. Ang maganda pa nun eh naibenta pa namin sa gusto namin presyo kasi alaga sa maintenance. Ewan ko baka yun nag sasabi na madali masira yun mirage siguro sa pag aalaga lang ng sasakyan yan para tumagal at di agad masira. ✌️

I want both cars to succeed bec both are assembled in the Phils (continuation of jobs for many Filipinos). But in terms of specs, features, safety, engine, variants, and competitive pricing spec per spec, the Vios is much much better than the G4 (Sorry Mitsubishi Phils, I have to state the truth).

And one more thing that Mirage G4 loses very very much to Toyota Vios is the former has the very unreliable Jatco CVT7 transmission that is also used in Nissan econobox models (e.g. Juke, Sylphy, etc.)

I have it both my 2015 Mitsu Mirage G4 GLS and Vios 2022 xle cvt. In terms of power parang malakas si Mirage Manual compare to Vios AT. Matipid din si Mirage malamig ang AC but ang problema ko sa Mirage underclasses at engine supports madali bumigay. Maingay din yong Air Intake ni Mirage at til now wala silang ginawang upgrade doon. So far kay Vios wala pa akong na observe na problema dahil bago pa

Well, kahit anong facelift pa sa Mirage G4, hindi yan papantay sa Vios in terms of specs, features and technology stand point. Ang tanging lamang lang nyan is "fuel efficiency", which is not so much of a difference kung hindi ka sa heavy traffic. And given na yun e, 3 cylinder diba? E di matipid talaga. Kargahan mo yan ng full size persons and it will offset its efficiency kasi pilit yung makina unlike sa vios na naka 4 cylinders.

But the 3 cylinder offers better gas mileage than your 4 cylinder especially with the honda city which has the worst mileage among these cars you mentioned. In my opinion, the G4 GLS is not overpriced, the features offered are fair for this price point. Its not designed to be a fun and fast car, its sole purpose is taking you to point A and B safely, conveniently and saving a lot of money on gas and maintenance. If you want a fun, fast car at this price point, buy a used 2018 - 2019 honda civic or mazda 3.

@@08metalcore yep, thats another way of saying that G4 is a boring and underpowered car that strugles to reach 100 kph when loaded with passengers. My friends wife owns one and he hates it coz its a slug. If realibility, quality, driving dynamics, image, performance and resale value is not a factor then fine go for the overpriced 3rd place G4, remember buying cars is not just about fuel efficiency. Clearly, G4 was designed as a city car for girls and old folks who has no passion for driving and thats the main reason why it's on that 3rd spot, but yes its your money and preference so just be happy with it if you own it already.

Btw, don't believe the manufacturers claims about their fuel effieciency in km/l, it was not done under normal driving conditions, only newbies will believe that. Maintenance, fuel and operating cost is not far from other cars in the same price bracket. Reality check, you are not saving that much on fuel and maintenance, If you really want efficiency buy a diesel car. Ex. Accent CRDi its efficient yet no worries when overtaking. LoL

see here's the thing you'll pay the extra price sa ibang "4 cylinder" sa maintenance at fuel consumption. loaded with safety features and you say overpriced? if i wanted a decent small car that looks cool af id go for the mirage, personally tested and abused one. never broke down. clutch cable lang which is easy fix. may isa pa dito dont believe fuel efficiency bs daw. again personally tested. 1 full tank of gas iligan to davao and pasyal2 sa davao and back to iligan may 2 bars pa na tira pag uwi, loaded with 4 people with heavy bags. and eto pa isa sluggish daw, i dont think so (M/T mirage ko) well it is slower than my civic but its really not that slow compared to a wigo thats cheap for a reason. isa pa maintenance daw not far from other cars? LMFAO hell no! im so happy to have a mirage as my daily since maintenance lang? gulong lang pinaka mahal! not to mention it has a long lasting chain drive than a traditional belt sa mga auto! i would love to take these people on a ride on my mirage. its not boring at all it has mivec thats like vtec and it also kicks in @ 5k rpm! maybe your driving or commute is boring but heck i dont find the mirage boring as my daily. again you'll be paying the price on the long run. its either a 10 now or an 9 and then add another 1 every idk 6 months. i used to hate the mirage, 3 cylinder, boring egg looking car but when i owned one hell i was wrong. and also youre picking on the "top of the line variant" there are options sa mirage. its like saying oh 1 mil for a vios? id rather get a used s14 or etc. kaya nga E variant sya pinag face to face and from what i saw id go for the mirage mainly for it being a money saver, low maintenance. and a smaller car great for city traffic and parking.

Wag kayong magAway, be happy for what you have. Hindi G4 yung 1st choice ko noon pero dahil doon ako napunta yun ang lablab ko. Mura kasi top of the line ng G4 kaya yun nakuha ko. I love my 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage GLS MT. Made in Thailand pa yun. All power, push start, auto climate control, 60-40 rear folding seats, reliable, fuel efficient. Nabili ko nun for 585K straight cash. Sulit na sulit. Ngayun overpriced na mirage kahit locally made/assembled na. Anyare? BTW mas heavy duty ang 4 cylinder engine kesa 3. Meaning mas matibay sa laspagan like daily commute at taxi/grab. Yung 3 cylinder, best used for private lang for better longevity.

G4 ang panalo sir. Kc ang g4 mahina sa gas at malakas ang aircon. Kabaliktaran ng vios. Ang vios malakas sa gas at mahina ang lamig ng aircon. Meron kc akong g4 na 2015 model. At may bago akong vios na xle cvt 2021 model. Kaya ko masabi. Yung mga nag rreview kc ng mga car eh hindi nila binibigyan ng pansin yon. Witch it importante din yon sa mga car buyers.

Yes, mas matipid talaga mirage, in 5yrs sa savings on gas and maintenance, parang makaka bili kana rin ng another 2nd hand car. Dami vios lover, sa kilala kung talyer ng Grab, araw2x 4 to 5 vios na Grab nagpapagawa, yung friend ko na operator 7yr old vios nag overhaul na running 260k km, yung mirage na 7yrs same milleage alternator lang pinalitan.

@@JosephineAliangan yup, Mirage G4 owner here. Matiped talaga sa gas, ok ang aircon, tiped din ang maintenance. Wala pang nasisira sa 4 yrs na pagamit. Napaltan lang is battery and yung normal na PMS like oil filter, air and cabin filter. Other than that, wala pang problema. Puros Mirage G4 owner mga kapamilya ko, and sa mga 6 na naka Mirage, ganun din ang kanilang experience. Mejo pricey nga in general kumpara sa VIOS but relatively mababawi naman sa katipiran sa gas.

I own both cars. I’ll give you a REAL honest assessment. Mirage is the better work horse car. Vios is better tech wise and mas “sosyal”. Sa tibay automatic Toyota diba? Wrong hehe. I have 5 vios 2020+ up all of them suffer from weak rack and pinion. May irritating sound na everytime you turn sa Vios pag nasira na yung rack n pinion niya. As early as 10k odo lumalabas na yung sakit nya. Not to mention the terrible gas consuption compared to the Mirage. But of course mas maganda ang interior ng Vios for me and much better ang speakers ng Vios for those who love music. The Mirage on the other hand is very boring and basic car. Pero its one of the most fuel efficient cars out there. Honestly. Sobrang tipid. Sobra din light ng gas pedal din nya compared sa Vios. Madali idrive kahit sa trapik at hindi nakakapagod because of the light gas pedals. Sa Vios medyo malalim tapak kaya malakas sa gas imo. Overall the Mirage is the way to go thats why ang daming GRAB na nagpapalit from Vios to Mirage lol. Pero if you want better features inside and mas techy ka then Vios. Just dont compare the gas comsumption ng Vios to Mirage ever. Just my two cents. 😉

Driving our company car mirage G4 tipid kaso nipis kaha, may issue pa na trunk gap sa hood, talagang cost cutting si mitsubishi tinipid.. mas maganda spec ng Vios when it comes to power.. 70Hp lng si G4 while 98 HP si vios. plus triptonic pa . pwede ka mag manual mode anytime. and didnt you notice? walang taxi na G4 kasi nga mahina aircon. and hindi pambaragan kasi nga nipis kaha, unlike vios subok at matibay .. over decade.. reliable car.. just my two cents

Only issue with vios 1.3L engine.. mahina ang hatak lalo na kpg reverse (lalo kpg inclined.. ramdam mo hirap ung makina). if tulad sa honda na 100+ ang HP siguro hndi na tsupot kpg atrasan ang labanan.

Well for me lng ha... Mitsubishi pa rin ako.. I have this mitsubishi sedan glxi 1997 and its still running.. Wag mong sabihin na mas marami ang pyesa sa toyota kontra Mitsubishi.. Thats a big insult.. ... Sheesshh ano na tayo ngayun its 2024 na lols.. At saka pag may sira eh sa casa or sa shop ka naman din pupunta at magbabayad ka naman din.. Hehe.. Kalokohan yang sinasabi nyung marami ang pyesa kasi kung marunong kang mag alaga tatagal ang sasakyan mo.. By the way 2024 na ngayun kaya wag kang mag alala sa pyesa lols.
