Behind the arm rest there should be an av input Walmart sells a av caonverter that one end is a aux for like 6 dollars

Yes that's possible, but most cars dont have any input.

If It has a dvd player take the av cords out and put a audio plug in there just red and white then go to DVD plug in the aux and boom

That input (look same as aux) on the bottom left is actually not Aux, but it's programming interface.

But there is a way to get aux on any head unit with DIY.

Go to navi solutions online. Cost $99NZD they will email the new configuration system to you. Then burn to disc and it will update the mmcs and allow you to change the language etc. I've just bought this yesterday also have outlander '05

There is special switch on car which blocks to dont get driver's attention to display while driving. But you could enable it by DIY.

How come you don't have the sub punch level and no sub but have the Rockford fosgate emblem on the dash?

It`s originally Japan version of MMCS, when you convert it to English some settings missing due to differences between ENG and JPN software.

Absolutely, but there is no sound quality loss. Every sound configuration is set on default.

You could get your map from official mitsubishu website using Mitsubishi accounts then update it.

You can change it to English or Russia by reprogramming hard disk.

You'll have to reprogram your hard disk of head unit, and decrypting software. since i've sold my car i cant record the process. I can guide you guys if you want.
