The owner said they bought a same model from chaman n replaced it as it is which means it's a complete body change n Mr Sunil is insisting u got accessories from a donor car .. getting a non custom paid car n changing body with it is illegal as the body is not legally imported n there is no custom paid on that body

Not illegal, u have to pay body change tax if the body is not from the same model of the frame. Alot of old toyota crowns have been swaped with newer bodies with body change orders from court and tax paid.

It's only legal wen u pay body tax even if u r swapping same generation body .. but people here don't pay body tax on a ncp body .. normally auctioned Jeeps r mostly body swapped n most of the times they have tough time by custom officials once they stop them somewhere

The owner even got it's original seat belts installed back after body swap. If body swap is legal then why people bother to keep things like seat belts original where they have mentioned car year . These r just some tactics to argue with officials if they r stopped . If legal then he should be confident to keep new beats installed n roam around .. but there is something in back of owner's mind that is why seat belts were kept original

Pajero is a very capable car. It won dakaar rally and is rated by top mechanics and even former pakwheel founders greatly. Sunil manj doesn't like it apparently.

Its a full body change, on the original frame, not just accessories changed. This is legal if the excise department is informed. Technically, the chassis number is stamped on the ladder frame so as long as u have the original frame with original number, its ok! Funny laws in Pakistan :s Btw, body parts for pajero are cheaper than land cruiser or prado, in Peshawar!

Respected brother plz aik information Chahiye. Honda city 2008 model ha but us ki no plate 07 ki lagi ha Rawalpindi ki registered ha for example RIA-07-673 . BUT excise ki site pe model 2008 show hota ha aur registration date bhi 4 march 2008 show ha Kaya yeh mumkin ho Sakta ha . 7 bata 8 to suna ha yeh 8 bata 7 ha. Model 8 aur no.7 ka

Suneel bhai! Aoa This is Youab from Peshawar. Mitsubishi parts are very costly. I got my car's water body changed for 4500 (with labour cost). I have Mini Pajero 1995 (with 1100cc Petrol engine swabbed with 660cc). Now the car isn't going above 80 km/hr. My mechanic says that i need to change the gearbox in order to make it run above 100 km/hr. He says everything else is fine (clutch plates, power plates, differentials). What do you say?

Please when you take review of a car make sure owners know about the car and its spare parts.if he dont know give your own information which is properly researched based.. I would like to add some information about pajero..first of all its parts are not expensive as compare to Toyota. Yes if you compare it with 90 to 95 model prado.then you can say that its parts r slightly high but not too much high.but prado 96 to 2002 are way to much expensive than pajero. The only known fault of pajero are its diesel engine which are not as reliable as Toyota engine. Except 2L turbo.
