I have a Atlantic blue 1984 flatty starion/conquest. I'm planning on swapping a 4g63 in with a mighty max manual trans. The g54b is total garbage. Does anyone know where I can get a ignitor black box for these? Besides Australia for a $100 lol. Mine already went through 3 ignitors and got me stranded twice, it's been sitting in my garage for years now and after market parts are hard to come by.

I almost bought a Conquest back in the day. Still wish I would have bought it.

This is my 1988 Mitsubishi Starion 2.6L G54B. Yes it's not swapped but it's heavily modified to be reliable and fun, turbonetics T67 turbo with T51R modification, fully forged engine, race port and polished Head, managed by Microtech EFI Lt-10s , SsR super mesh wheels, on custom coilovers and custom Baggs management is P3 airlift

oem engine builds are honestly cooler in a way( (ik it’s not stock) but i picked up a CRX swapped with a sohc ZC and rather than K swap it, i’d like to get forged pistons and ITBs for a nice all motor build. nice build brother 👍

I always loved Starions. Yours is really clean. Are you still running throttle body injection? Or aftermarket EFI set up?

I still can't believe more of these (and it's twin the Conquest) don't exist in public. Were they that rare or were they really turds impossible to work on and got junked? Definitely a dream car. 🏁

Beautiful car. Got to see it in person. I had the XR4Ti tucked in the back corner up on the grass. Always loved the look of the look of these cars and yours is super clean.

As much as I love dated. and TLD and other professional car cinematography channels, it's so refreshing to see content like yours. Keep it up!
