Its french. About the game, Guo is not playing 100 %. His servicereturns and pushes are High and there is no problem för Kono to smash them.

It is evident that Guos entire game is suited for a fixed victory for Kohno. It is not sure that Guo himself liked it but he had to obey the Chinese strategy. Guo is often considered one of the greatest. Great serves. One of the first powerloopers. A decent if not great backhand. A great defence.

@@ollewiberg2145 Guo was one of the greatest players of the 38mm ball era and so was Kohno. We can speculate all we want but Kohno was just as good as Guo. In fact, a few Chinese national coaches of the 1990s openly admitted that Kohno was the most likely penholder who could stack up against the shakehand looping players. Wang Hao and Ma Lin were very successful but they joined the international TT competitions at the end of the 1990s.
