I discovered undertale in 2018 too and almost inmediately got right into Timeline Lores and characters, to this day im still an undertale lover, to relax i usually put one of these bangers via bluetooth and meditate (It doesn't help but it's still cool). For me, Tokyovania is more than just a song. It is a link that connects my past with my present. Undertale influenced me a lot as a kid. Of course id didn't exactly participate in the fandom, but i did watch and listen to a lot of content and music. Undertale fan music was literally everything i listened to at some point - Falkkone's metal covers, Mafiatale covers, and of course, a LOT of versions of Stronger Than You. In middle school, probably in late 2021 or early 2022 i really got into Vocaloid. Imagine my surprise when i saw so many familiar songs... Echo, Close to You and finally, Tokyo Teddy Bear. That was probably the happiest period of my life. This song connects the two best times of my life and symbolises the continuity of life. The other song that is really close to my heart is Close to You for the same reason, but instead it connects the lowest points of my life to the highest. It's really beautiful to think about it like that

I found Undertale around 2019 and instantly fell in love with everything about it, especially the music. The original Tokyovania was one of the first fan made songs I ever heard, and this remix captures the same feeling that the original had. Great job on this! You have earned another sub! I never joined the undertale fandom until about three ish years ago, I came late to the party and the heyday was over long before I showed up. This reminds me of one of the first roleplays I ever got into outside my family. I didn't know what Undertale was at the time, so when I ran into someone roleplaying 'Ink' and being an artist who's for the betterment of the world I was like 'that's on the nose but cute!'. They took me on a really amazing journey, both roleplaying with those characters and discovering Undertale. I don't know where that person is now, but I hope they're doing well.

Well... I've been listening to this song along with its other variants for 7 years. If we're going to be honest, tokyovania is one of the best gifts the community has ever received in its history. It's much more than just a remix of Tokyo Teddy Bear, It is a masterpiece for the ears, the combination of instruments used along with its other variants, is simply catchy, unique and energetic. This remix has made me remember the best thing about this community.
