I love this season. Made me interested in fashion after a decade of being bored by every collection from Fendi to Deisel. Nobody does fashion and a couture collection like Prada. No one does what this woman has for a fashion house. I bow at the alter of Prada.

It's absolutely beautiful!!! Miuccia & Raf have done it. They've created a conversation. Such a fantastic collection that has all the strengths of Miuccia--incredible shoes, accessories, textures, proportions, colour combinations...but Raf has imbued it with moments & tangents only he could've brought to the table. It's a collaboration--at last!--of two extraordinary designers, & they've made something together that neither one could've accomplished alone. This collection, & the PROGRESSION it represents, is super-exciting to me. SS25 is a disappointment, but this one finally brings together the best qualities of both designers.

That's how you do a Ready to wear collection, the only fault with it is that it was absolutely perfect, flawless classic Prada, the use of high tech fabrics in classically designed garments and silhouettes, reminiscent of 60's Pierre Cardin, Paco Rabanne, Mary Quant and André Courrèges, exquisite colour schemes with delicate touches of icy pastels as highlights, clever and minimal embellishments and yet so lavish and luxurious, a juxtaposition of the utilitarian and the utterly elegant and polished, every single look and garment carry that contemporary cool and timeless appeal that so many others try to emulate but never really perfect........................If there ever was such a thing as the perfect match it is undoubtedly that of Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons.........Viva Prada, Bravo 👏🏻

Definitely seeing some military influence specifically WWII. The slips nod to the idea of the interior vs the exterior. I think that reflected in the floor as well. A soft natural state being confined by structure and rigid ornamentation. Then all of the harshness softens once you get to the Dionne Warwick song. Cool collection!

Wow what a powerful collaboration 😍 Both Raf & Miuccia have dialled up their design sensibilities right up to the max here to make this easily the most beautiful collection they have done together. You can see Raf's ideas, silhouette's, colour blocking, palette, shapes, concepts, tailoring, inventiveness at full flourish here to the extent he dominates the pairing on this showing, for the better, mixed with Miuccia's flowery flapper stylistic elements. But Miuccia's feminine designs still stand strong too, it feels like in the collaboration she threw her strong ideas in and they were then filtered through Raf's sensibility added to Raf doing the majority of the rest himself. It almost feels like another big step in Miuccia slowly handing over the reigns fully too Raf. It was so beautiful. Raf with his pulsating rave like soundtrack half way through was so pleasing too :)) Next collection we need it all the way through to show the takeover is complete ;)

Men's fashion week definitely is interesting, but with how fashion works (where the larger brands create the trends and it eventually gets copied by the smaller brands, then department stores, etc.) what actually sells in retail is less elaborate. The runway serves as purely marketing, with most of these looks being manufactured in very few copies. A good example of this is Thom Browne. His runways are elaborate and gorgeous and wild, but if you ever been to his store, the collections -- especially for men -- are tamed. This is simply because most men, unfortunately, aren't daring in fashion, hence it isn't profitable. I definitely hope this mindset changes, though!
