Thanks for the great comparison. Seems like miui 13 is nothing like they promised, and gets worse scores on tests but in practice is as good as 12 or slightly better in certain situations. They need to further tune it.

I am using Poco f3 now with MIUI 13. however I need to wait for more further updates to latest MIUI 13 updates hoping getting better. I agree that 12.5.9 is smoother and optimized than 13. 13 is still new to this operating system however yeah they need to fix MIUI being stable and optimized like EU which the days back where MIUI was the stable ones like MIUI 10

Very cool test. I'll probably just stick to Miui 12. The improvement in Miui 12.5.9 is mostly in memory score. Cpu and GPU (which are the actually important ones in games) are practically the same. Really not worth the headache of dealing with the bloatware and general slowness of newer miui models.

@@jhayybermejo3613 I currently use miui 13.0.3 for codm and it starts having frame drops after 30 minutes of battle royale on low graphics, max framerate. But with 12.5.9 I was hardly having any frame drops except I game for 2 hours+. SO 12.5.9 is better.

From what i've read, a lot of people are having issues with MIUI 13, never noticed any bugs so far with my "Redmi Note 11" with MIUI 13.0.9 Android 11, maybe an isolated issue with the 'Poco' phones or other Xiaomi phone ?

The problem exists only in old phone which got updates . Redmi note 11 series comes with miui 13 pre-installed by company so there are no issues. You will have issues if you get miui 14 updates until then it's fine. . Same for poco , reased last year runs Better on miui 12 .
