@@Siva0128 maybe switch to other apps. Because the builtin fm radio app either has received no updates or the phone is not able to cope up with app since it is old. So it is draining faster.

There's a problem in Miui 12 5 update it sucks...it drain battery fast...in my Redmi Note 8...when i charged it in 99% and didnt use it for 10 hrs..it drained 48% of it ...I shouldn't buy this crap next time...

I am sure it has got to do with some app that's running in background. Check background running apps and force stop them. Coz 48% drain without mobile usage has to do with app consuming battery in the background.

Same after miui 12.5 update my phone is taking 5-6 hours for charging after 100% charging it drain to 97 without using it

Screen is one of the most battery consuming part of a mobile phone. Also Camera, Mobile Data, Hotspot are also very battery consuming.

Because of MIUI ROM, these suck- ups of Xioami are lying to you and won't tell you the real problem with the battery drain, I advise you to get a custom ROM added in your phone from a professional if the problem is bothering you.

@@sifatullah7568 No it's because of MIUI Rom, my other phones with a different ROM have better battery than my redmi phone with MIUI 12 and those phones were released years before my redmi phone.

no bro! still the battery is draining fast. yesterday i played pubg for 1 1/2 hours. and it from drop 95% to 64%. Even though i have most of the settings u mentioned already on. The mobile was bought last year i believe. and it was used mainly for calling, wifi, youtube, Facebook, and other soft apps. not at all for any kind of games, not even candy crush. And i decided to play pubg on this since June and did not bother on the battery drop issue at first After watching KZbinr use this mobile for pubg test, i was surprised why my mobile is not giving the same results on battery. Any other tips or can u play pubg on smooth + ultra for few hours to see how much your mobile drop. thanks if you can help any further

I think, there has to be some app that's causing the battery drain. Check the app that's using the battery most. Sometimes an app update can also cause battery to drain due to the bugs. Try removing any recently installed apps that you think might be causing the issue.

Graphic heavy games with high settings drain your battery quicker, even if there isn't something wrong with the battery or miui, but in yours and my case miui rom is causing the battery drain problem..also many people suggested getting a custom ROM to fix this problem, but don't try this at home if you aren't a professional, you can risk bricking your phone, I'm also stuck with the same battery drain issue because I made the mistake of buying a Xiaomi phone, your best bet is to buy a power bank. This is why people talk crap about Xiaomi and MIUI, it may have some good features, but they never bother to fix the battery issue..I still experience lag in some low end games, despite the processor being fast and decent for many games, they also only care about their Chinese roms..Xiaomi's racism is real, people with the global ROM, Indian and all non Chinese roms have the most complaints.
