What a great film! You showed the island of Madeira off to its best for sure. It could be a travel commercial because you would make everyone want to go there. It is stunning and the colours on the film are really intense. Loved the views when you are above the clouds and they have settled into the valleys. As for the race... steps, steps and more steps! I think I would be looking forward to running on the flat after all that lot. Maybe that's why you managed to run so strongly towards the finish arch! Your quads must have been trashed afterwards. Some of those climbs were really steep and long (next to the big pipe looked tough). Parts of the trail look quite scary, especially the bit with the drop off to the left just before those white trees (Oh My God!). My favourite but was definitely towards the end with those lights along the trail. Lovely combination of covering the elite race whist running it yourself. Great job :)

Thank you so much for this message Sarah ! Maybe I will sell some parts of the video to "Madeira Travel" or something like that... "Steps" is clearly the word to describe some parts of the race. The first parts of ascent were terrible with high pourcentage. And next to the big pipe : clearly the more insane steps I saw in my little life. After the middle of the race I was thinking : "the best part is finished". But clearly not, : The end was awesome too. The last part with day light must be so awesome ! I haven't film the "Levada" parts because I was in my goal to finished before 20H00M00, but run between water and emptiness to arrive at finish line was so intense. My best race of the year. Thanks again.

@@zapetou31 les barrières sont plutôt larges pour le MIUT : 24 heures pour le 85k et 30 heures pour le 115k si ma mémoire est bonne.

Excellente vidéo jai adoré !. Je rentre tout juste de Madère et j'ai parcouru certains chemins que j'ai reconnu dans la vidéo et je me disais en marchant que c'était quasi.impossible de courir parfois

Merci Laurence ! Je confirme, c'est quasi impossible de courir parfois... :). Même les pros sont forcés de marcher pour certaines parties. La végétation de l'île est-elle encore bien verte fin Août ?
