YOU SAVED THE AN AND AKITO VER THIS IS WAY BETTER!! one thing that bothered me about the original is how the song felt like an x akito (there’s nothing wrong with the ship) but the song gimmie x gimmie is a wlw song because it’s sung with mikurin and it gave me an off feeling when they made an akito and An cover when they could’ve made it An and Kohane or even genderbend it and make it Akito and Toya to still keep some of the same meaning. The lyrics are extremely ambiguous and nothing specifies anything about the gender of the person they're talking to. It could be a third party or it could be each other. And even if it was a third party nothing tells us it actually is a man. The only time they use a pronoun in the song is at the very last line "because he comes home" which is very clearly not referring to the person they're with ATM
