Should we apply any varnish ?

Question: in order to be washed ( the vase ) I guess it needs to be varnished first, right? will acrylic varnish work on this? to be waterproof I mean

In order to make this extra waterproof you can cure it in the oven just after painting it with frost paint. Flowers are plastic and they can not go in the oven because they will melt.

@@AggiesCraft off course the flowers will melt!😂 Thanx for the tip!! Appreciate it!! I hate the oven as I love in NYC... mine is 100 years old so any varnish would work?😁

@@marceldeac1876 no you don't put varnish on frost paint at all. You apply frost paint and then you bake it in the oven. I think the instruction is on the bottle for how long and so on.

Here's a tip, use rubber gloves to prevent finger prints. I actually like the gold, very nice how you turned a simple vase into a one of a kind object.
