It's funny when I see comments like how old era had better skilled player than present. Players adopts to playing condition which they face. It's idiotic to say that previous era players were great and current players are mediocre.It shows how little you know about this game. One one hand you talk about how difficult the pitch was in past hence the batsman were great,on the other hand you talk about how great those bowlers are while playing on those same bowler friendly pitches. Counter argument can be made that same sort of bowlers will be thrashed in current condition. Apart from Thompson was there any fast bowlers in Imran Khan's time? Does't seems like it, compared to that we have seen lots of tearaway pacers in last one decade. In fact we can argue that with the advent of technology it's easy to counter every past players in present condition. And you talking about Kohli struggling,do you know how much Viv struggled in later part of his career? Every player struggles it's not a big deal. It's futile to compare past era with present and saying how great past was. And somebody said only Amir and Starc has the attitude of past bowlers,lmao. Amir doesn't even rank in top20 test bowlers.He was good only in the one series in 2010 in England that's all. We have cummins, starc,steyn,broad etc etc and others who r as good if not better then past bowlers.
