i think this compressor is good for backround vocal simple but the vocal doesn't come upfront like the other compressors does like the fabcomp for example

How do you have an auto gain button on yours? Mine doesn’t have that button. Neither do the ones I’ve seen in the other KZbin videos that have come out today. Yours seems to be the only one with auto gain.

@@mixbustv I even went to Antares website. After clicking on the vocal compressor, the very first picture shows no auto gain. Then halfway down the page, they show a picture with auto gain. Very odd.

@@mixbustv just wanted to let you and everyone else know that I did finally hear back from Antares. Autogain was removed from version 1.0 due to a few technical issues but will be implemented on a later update to the vocal compressor.

Where would you put this in the vocal chain if your using it in dual mode? I usually take at the top and boost towards the bottom of my chain...or would it even matter?

If I use dynamic compression like this it would be right after filters and basic channel saturation (I use Console 1 on every channel as a 1st slot)

Background nose is brought up by the makeup gain, not this plugin specifically, any compressor. The noise was already in the recording (I didn't record that)
