Wow!!! I really love this picture book! I decided to dust off my art journal supplies and get started. I am ashamed to say, I am still finding supplies and tools after 3 days of gathering!! LOL I am going to try to use the different techniques from tutorials and transfer those lessons to create art journal books that have an educational value to them for my infant grand daughter. Official Heather Wilkerson I do it so easy! Steep 2 teabags in a little pot with a little baking soda. Lay out papers on old beach towels and paint tea on with sponge brush. When one side is kinda dry, flip and do other side. Air dry however long you want or use heat tool to finish drying. Wash old towels. I iron my papers very low to get the few humps out. Done! You can puddle your tea if you want.

It just needs to be long enough to fit the book you make. I believe the paper I use was an 8x10

Hey mar. It's a Stabilo. It's a soft lead that can be used on any surface. You can add water to it and it will smudge. It's the best! 💛🤗

Are you supposed to ... like ... fold the long piece back on itself underneath the photos? You didnt explain that part and just jumped forward to having everything clipped and cutting the pull tab... I mean - this is what i am assuming from what i have tried to glean from what you have shown in the video and what seems like would be kind of ... common sense? But if you could please... comment with confirmation which i hope to get before i get the chance to make this up as it would just make me more confident in the make.. since thats sometimes why i end up not making things - because i lack the self confidence and just assume i will screw it up and then just decide not to make it so that I do not find failure ... which i know is a lame excuse .. but still lol I am trying desperately to get over that and build my self confidence so that I dont stress myself into inaction which is generally what ends up happening! (If anyone has any suggestions how to help me get out of this pathetic mindset so that I can craft more and believe in myself! lol that would be super appreciated!! hehhe) Thank you one and all... but this was a super cool make and i hope to be able to make one for myself and have it look as cool as the one that you made Heather! Thank you for all thevideos you make for us to learn from and enjoy!

Hello there. The back piece is just a long pieces of paper that is folded down on the top and bottom. Then glued at the top and bottom. I believe inspiration will find you while you work. Never give up. Stay the course. You'll be happy you did. Happy creating! 💛
