This medium is so cool 😎. When I use only the stencil butter do I also put the gel medium after it is dry?

There is no need to put gel medium on top of the stencil butter to seal it. These magnets will get a coat of min wax polycrylic varnish. K

I know this video is older but I have a question before I buy these , I’ve bought “butter” (different brands) before and they always dry out so fast even with lid sealed ! Do these also dry out over time..?

I've had these for over a year and they have not dried up. They containers are rather small..but a little goes a long way....Hope this helps. K

Hi Katy, Di here a question for you please, when you transfer excess product off the stencil onto tissue paper, is the tissue paper plain white tissue as in wrapping paper. or is it a specific type of tissue paper purchased somewhere, keeping in mind I am in Australia. Many thanks

The tissue paper I use is just plain white tissue paper purchased from dollar store. I believe people buy it to stuff in gift bags . I've had some tissue paper be very fragile and literally fall apart when it got wet so you may want to try some before doing too much with it. I've even reused the tissue paper I get in gift bags LOL K

I’ve seen some demos where they used a Ranger heat tool to dry the stencil butters. It will bubble and give more texture. Something for you to try. I’m also getting some of TCW’s white pearl paste to use with the stencil butters. Thanks for the hint of using a card to apply the butters.

I am aware that you can get bubbling....I may use that on a different application . For this magnet I wanted it to be pretty regular and neat... White pearl modeling paste is wonderful....TCW just posted a blog where the person mixed all the stencil butters with the various modeling pastes....give it a look. Thanks for watching. K

Theses are in perfect condition. Not dried up at all. Why do you ask .

Sorry. They are still after over a year in good like new condition. Clean off edge and seal tightly.
