Hiya Maia!! Thank you. Yes, yes I was having fun. At first I thought I had ruined it, but just kept adding layers like I used to when doing my big Abstract Expressionist murals. And in the end it came out good. Whew. But, there is always black paint (mistake corrector) I suppose. Hahaha... Now - for the foreground????? No idea? I hope this finds you well. Have a great week.

I feel the same way about your water based marker style, which I have tried to replicate, but it didn't come out very good. Not like yours... :( Perhaps I will circle back around to it later. Wow, such a great background! I actually quite liked your first, soft layer, and at first I thought, no, don't cover that! 😅 But then you added all those other layers and it is stunning. I'm really curious to see how you are going to colour the image. Have fun ❤

Hiya Kirsten!! I was scared when I started to add the other layers because at first it looked worse. But, then I was like - I am committed now! I'll just have to keep adding layers until it looks good. Slowly it took shape. Whew. But, there is always black paint (mistake corrector). Hi Ellie!! Yes, so was I as I had no ideas what to do after that. But, I did finish it and I like it. I look forward to showing it later. Yes, I did want it to be in that journal style - which I like very much. Hopefully, I will be doing more of that style in my future colorings.
