I hope Mike was feeling better after a restful day. I love making faux id's, too. It's highly creative to make fake personas and get to play with all our stamps while doing so. A bonus is getting to hear your joy at the process - it echoes my own. Here's a thought - we should sit warring opponents down together with junk journal supplies and not let them out until they've learned to create, not destroy. ❤ Belinda xxx

I haven’t made any of these yet surprisingly enough. I’m trying to think of what I could use. I have some numbers stamps and I probably have some thing I could use for the text. I don’t have anything that says identification, but I could use my individual alphabet stamps and just put ID, I don’t have a signature stamp, but I can scribble a signature easy. My own signature is just nothing but a scribble. Ooh, a thumbprint!

I thought about using pictures from my own yearbook when I made the Joey Cardmaker Groovy journal because my yearbook is 1968, but I think that might be kind of creepy because a lot of those people are probably still alive. I’d rather use something from the 20’s or the 30s for ID cards.

I used them as journal cards in my journals. You could also use them as decorations on a pocket or on a larger journal card. Or maybe attach one in the center of a belly band. Lots of journal related options for these fun cards! ❤

Congrats to Addie graduating( hope thats how her name is spelled). please dont take this personal -for your stamp blocks- the stamps might stick better if the blocks were cleaner..lol..I clean mine with hand sanitizer then Dawn powerwash. Might take a few times . Air dry. Just dont use anything abrasive as it will scratch them.

I have really old black and white old photos from my family and friends. Can those be used in art? Is there a copyright on things like that? I thought about even selling copies, is that ok to do? I’ve used old family photos that I don’t even know who the people are and have made digitals from them. I’ve also used photos I’ve found at estate sales. I’m not an expert on copyright, so I refrain from giving advice on that. So I just tell folks to do what they are comfortable with. Not a great answer, but the best I’ve got, my friend. ❤

Our weather has been raining-ish and humid! The grungy faux ID’s just make me giggle. P.S. I use a sticky note to block the part of the stamp I don’t want when I ink, then remove before stamping. Maybe that helps! I have other people sign names to them to vary the signature, also!! guys especially are good at messy signatures!!
