I am one of the people that say that Hugh Jackman should be left alone to retire from Wolverine. He wanted it that way and even voiced that he wants someone else to take the role. So if course we should move on, because he wants to too. So when I saw this announcement, I said, "Fuck what I said. The Jackman is coming back as Wolverine one last time! Finally Deadpool and Wolverine in a movie together!"

Yeah he’s one of those actors that has earned the right to step away from the role at any time and all we can do is be grateful for what he’s given us. Now in the same breathe he’s also one of those actors that can step back into the role literally whenever he wants and all we can do is be grateful for what’s to come.

Hugh Jackman's version of Wolverine is my all-time favorite superhero. Logan was an incredible way to retire that character. It's also an emotional conclusion. However, the fact that Hugh gets to come back one more time (so to speak) as Wolverine is happiness personified. Plus, the fact that it's in Deadpool 3 is equally awesome. September 8th, 2024 can't come soon enough. Also, that teaser poster, having the Deadpool logo with the Wolverine claw marks on it, is fire! Deadpool 3 is now my most anticipated movie of 2024.

I am so excited that Hugh Jackman will be playing Wolverine one more time. I have watched him as Wolverine since the first X-Men movie came out in 2000. No one else can play Wolverine as well as Hugh has. He embodies the character so well and if they ever decide to recast someone else as Wolverine they will have huge shoes to fill that I do not think can be filled.
