This would be great for tracking a child from kindergarten thru high school! A picture each year. Or for a relative that takes pictures of the first day and last day of each school year. A great keepsake!

I'm going to make one of these for my dad's 91st birthday in July 2020. I'll be adding photos of his 90th birthday to the waterfall part and adding a disc on the other side, in a pocket. The party videos collected from the family phones and happy memories of the day will be on that. Love this project. Can't wait to do it. Thank you Sam. Very inspiring. X

I’m laughing again! Watched you the first time round when you ended up with the back glued on the wrong side! And here you go again! I love it! Yes the blue is so lovely! My pictures need to be portrait, so I’ll see how Ivan muck that idea up without your help! Still giggling! Thanks Sam! 🤣👏

I made a std size gift card recently with a mini waterfall on the front, very nice ... but yours is more than this it is a masterpiece.. lovin, love it love it.,. I will be making these for gifts. It suits my style of personalised cards where I use the persons photos in my projects to make the cards have personalised meaning. E.g. I did a few of you pop out of the box cards where I put a friends holiday snaps on as a kind of momentous for them. Just love your work Sam. Keep it up. Have you considered doing your own monthly kits...as you are in China you could get you own designs etc very cheaply? Just a wish list. Again thank you so much and know that this student has learnt so much and I have won two prizes for my cards that I have made from my cards that I learnt from your design..,and I always say where I got my idea and I promote your KZbin to all my crafty friends. 👏👏👏👏👏🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿🦄🦄🦄🦄👍👍👍👍❤️❤️

When you make your double waterfall, the belly band wrap will need to be longer than 12 inches, so remember that cutting it on the diagonal of your 12”x12” paper will give you that extra bit of length you’ll need.
@loi36674 жыл бұрын
I made this as a double and used both front and back with pictures on each side so it was bulky. I waited to put it together until I had both mechanism side done to make sure it did fit . Actually, even with the mats and pictures (56) front and back, your measurements for a double card worked perfectly. Instead of using a belly band on the case, I used an attached ribbon that I tied at the opening side. This worked better for this thicker card. The mechanism works perfectly in spite of the added bulk of pictures. It was a lot of work matting and putting the pictures on, but putting the card together was easy with your great tutorial. It was well worth all the work and turned out beautifully. Thank you.

Love it Sam! I'm considering making a double and using it as my weekly organizer for 2019 (not too early for planners lol!) Question: that middle strip that holds the covers together, why is it shorter than the covers? Does it have to be or is it just a style element? Thanks so much for another great, useful, and fun project!

Never too early for planners. It's purely a style element you can have it any length you like :)

I have to say you are one of the most creative people on youtube. I've really enjoyed your videos. This project is a must for a mini album I want to make for my upcoming trip to Spain. Do you think there is room for embellishing the waterfall pages?
@MixedUpCraft6 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Bonnie, that's so sweet of you to say. Yes, you can embellish the pages but I wouldn't go too bulky, especially along the tops of each page where it is attached. The ideas are just too used photos but stickers and die cuts would work also as they are flat. x
