Just Wow!! I’m a 48 yr old middle school science teacher; and a ridiculous fan of old school Metallica! I mention the middle school teacher, because I’m stunned to see such a stellar performance of early Metallica from guys your age… I would literally bring my guitar and amp into class for demonstration on sound waves, and roll off some riffs of various bands to my students.. no students identified Metallica riffs… I grew up with 1/3 of the kids in my schools being headbangers… You guys rock!! 🤘

@katho84722 ай бұрын
@@Atlas65 Yep, 1992 San Diego, only the slow 6/8 part, and there only parts of it... But to be fair, I don't know if he ever got to listen to the single track from the studio (of if the others couldn't bare digging those tapes out). Without those and/or a good transcription of that track, you can't play it properly. Cliff Burton was a phenomenon! Great to see you young bucks connecting to what he brought to life. I don't think Lars, James and Kirk would have been half the band that Metallica has become without Cliff getting the band focused in the early 80's. Keep up the good work young men, I can tell you are having fun!! We are too!!

The first couple min were a bit rough rhythmwise but damn you guys really fell into an amazing groove. Congratulations on your cover of this epic song. Also worth saying the production value is very high.

Amazing guys. Takes me back to when master of puppets came out. Ive always been of a fan of the early instrumentals. Gives me faith that the young people will carry on the metal torch. Cliff is smiling down no doubt.
