That deck is actually really good too. It's basically an inner fire/dragons deck. The acolyte to steal cards with potion of madness is a good combo, but there's also the use of Twilight Drake with a large health pool to hit 'em for 32+ dmg. Its really fun and surprisingly cheap. I don't think it even runs any legendaries, just a few epics and rares.

Now even though Raza won't be around for long, you can still do Otks using Shadowreaper Anduin, Prophet Velen, and, last and definitely the least, Temporus. Basically, with shadowreaper in play and after playing temporus (aka, your opponent has already taken 2 turns and now it is your turn to play 2 turns) this is what you do: 1: Play Prophet Velen 2: Hero Power (4 DMG) 3: (From Guilded Gargolyth) Coin 4: Hero Power (8 DMG) 5: End Turn 6: Mirage Caller on Velen 7: Hero Power (16 DMG) 8: 1 Cost Card 9: Hero Power (24 DMG) 10: 0 Cost Card 11: Hero Power (32 DMG) 12: Attack with Velen (39 DMG) See? He only has one cube and one dark pact. Also, no spirit umbra, and faceless. So can’t do 25 damage in one turn like cube lock. But this deck is better against aggro

Will Turner alright allow me to explain. There are two control warlock decks out there l. Cubelock, the deck we all know and love(hate) and demon control warlock. Cube warlock runs , doomgaurd, skull and cubes, or what's commonly known as, the cube package. Control demon warlock is a fun deck that's an actual control deck that removes threats on board and uses void lords to stop aggro, and does NOT use the cube package, but does use NZoth. Trump here just combined both of the decks together. Hope that explains it.

I've had decent success without cubes, N'Zoth, Voidlords, etc. Hell I don't even have skull but still run dooms and guldan. it's closer to the first iteration of demon lock before the weapon came out. Just a good tempo run until gul'dan for the finish.

Jeff Jefforson You don't, there are lists around that just don't run the card, but I think they run prince 3 and, instead of umbra, a copy of spellbreaker

I mean all card games are rng. If you hate rng dont play them. Poker, euker, hearts, magic the gathering and preatty much all cards are about using skill, strategy and the cards you have to schew a 50/50 into a 60/40. If that annoys you, idk learn a fighting game.

punkhippe it's not the overall rng that bothers me, that 's why I'm still playing duelyst. It's the rng inherent in many meta-defining HS cards. Exhibit A: 15:31 Bloodreaver Gul'dan gives Trump five Voidwalkers instead of another of his better demons, massively screwing him over. Duelyst doesn't do that, which is why I keep playing it.

Had he 100% lost that last game vs priest? I mean his opponent was fatiguing, he had the lifesteal heropower. So he had him on a 3/4 turn clock and gaining 3 health each turn. Opponent had ysera and a bunch of ysera/dk cards which might have all been useless. The only guaranteed damage he had was 6 per turn from ysera plus hero power, of which he was healing 3 with his own hero power. So I’m saying it still very likely to lose as there were quite a few cards the opponent could have had to win - but was it guaranteed?
