I enjoy hearing other artists’ thought processes as they work, especially when they’re similar to mine and can get a bit quirky! I have several collage soup books but often can’t imagine how I would use some of the unusual images! Your video encourages me to think outside the box!

Are you in halfasscrafters group? Artsy fartsy life? They’re also quirky and whimsical! I have fun that way but have a friend who “doesn’t like” those collages I’ve made because they’re “freaky and weird” but another friend just laughs along with me and enjoys them! I have to “filter” which ones I share with the first friend!🤪

@@DeniseLush when she’s judgmental and critical in a negative way it hurts even though I’ve explained why they make me smile, so I prefer to select my audience based on their level of understanding or appreciation; it would never stop me from doing exactly what I enjoy!😉

How fun. What are you using for the black outline of your images?

That would be a black paint pen/marker.

Do you have a PixScan mat for your silhouette? With a scanner you can get great results and the mat is very inexpensive!

I do but I cannot get it to work. I can't get print and cuts to work either. I don't know what I do wrong. I haven't tried it in years.

Too bad the makers of this book didn't print the images on one side only. Then the maker could use all the images in their work.

I was told that it's because you can only have so many blank pages in the book.
