Mixing it Up Using Platinum Mix Free Fountain Pen Inks

It would be nice to see your daughter more involved - try a mix of her own, try a writing or brush sample, or even help clean out the pipette? This would be a cool activity to do with kids at home interested in fountain pens or even just art and color mixing. It would be a nice hands on way to learn about colors.

This was an AWESOME flight! Curious, how can you tell if you're mixing a colour that will sheen? Or is it just luck of the draw?

Generally speaking, the more saturated the ink, the more likely there will be sheen, especially on Tomoe River paper. I was able to get the Dark Violet to sheen a little bit, but not the gold sheen I was hoping to get lucky with.
