So much information, and like they say "One picture (video), is worth a thousand words". Great job, and although I am already familiar with this program, I found it informative, easy to follow and understand the dialect. I even like the goof ups.....(the human factor, you know) On another note for your hard work and time spent to help others, that you got 10 and half THOUSAND views. Only 91 thumbs up. I guess some people think they know it all, or feel privileged not to say thank you likely to most, when the opportunity arises. I will now stay up the rest of the night to try to bring that thumbs up to at least 5,000 LOL Thanks Again.

This helped me get my basic setup in place, but neither of the 2 "MUTE" buttons I added work. Those of us who are beginners with this software need to know about the 'Mutegroup' function, so that our buttons will work. (just figured it out) This, however, a very helpful video, and thank you for the effort you've put into it!!

Thank you so much for this video! Since iOS 16 messed up the X AIR app, Mixing Station has come to my rescue. However, I was totally lost when I first pulled it up. Is there any chance you would update this video with the latest version of Mixing Station? I was able to find most of the things you demonstrated but the layout and some names of things are a little different now. Thanks again!

Thanks for your offering and participation on this brak 0777! Just a quick question. I'm running Mixing Station on Android for the X18 table top mixer. I've connected it via ethernet because I couldn't get it to see the IP address for wifi. The routing matrix in MS shows that all the inputs are routed to the same number channels, 1-16 to 1-16. Just looking at channel 1, it shows that input 1 is routed to it and ch 1 confirms that, showing it on the strip. It seems I can't get a signal either visually on the meter or in audio through headphones. Because ch 1 is hi impedance, I plugged a guitar in and confirmed that the signal is reaching the jack end that's being inserted into ch 1. Is there anything else that you know of that would interrupt or reroute the signal between the input and the channel? If not, I may have to concede that I have a defective X18 unit. Thanks for this video! Just started using Mixing Station XAir Pro for Android to run my In-Ear personal monitor system through Bus 6 on an XAir 18. The FOH is controlled by the XAir app created by Behringer on a Windows computer. I just control my own IEM mix with a small Android tablet with Mixing Station Pro. I restrict the Mix Access on my tablet to Bus 6 only in order to avoid changing the FOH settings. Question - Does restricting my control to Bus 6 only limit the ability to build a custom layout for my personal tablet? I have been having a few problems saving my custom Bus 6 layouts. The Android app is a little different than the windows app. Steve Lamm

It looks to me like you're going all the way in to layers just to change the number of displayed channels. If you go to the channels visible selection, and scroll up above the 8, there's an Auto button. Now it auto-sizes up to 32 channels, and you make all your changes with layers, which are one button selectable from the main screen.

I downloaded loaded this for our church. The behringer app isn’t working anymore. When I press like EQ or compression it closes out. All I can do is use the main faders. My question is, I can’t seem to find where I can have a main fader option. There is one that says gain. But of course it turns the volume up on mains AND monitors. How do I just turn a channel up on mains as well?

Can you control the XR 16's recorder/ playback in the Mixing Station's app? I use that for playing break music at gigs. That functionality is kind of messed up in the X-air Ipad app.

went all the way through the video setup with pro version on android pad, saves custom layout and scribble scripts until the app is closed. Open saved settings and total mixing setup back to defaults. Tested a few more times, same result, all customized settings vanish despite reloading previously saving settings. Help me out please, what I am I missing. X-18 setting.

The screen is so small, how can I make the screen occupy the entire size of my I pad Pro. So technically if my band mates also have this mixing station app. I can use it to customise a monitors only mix for them can’t I ? And remove the main mix from it ?? I’m currently running stereo in ears for them, so I should be able to just add one button for monitor 1, but that’ll still control both aux out 1&2 (as an example) ??

There is a monitor mix app only called the X Air Q. That will allow the user to only adjust their monitor mix. It works great.

Put the software on a different tablet. Connect to the XR with the new tablet...everything will download.

I have the same problem! I save it, even with a different name, it goes back to the default. I can call up what I set up for some reason in the edit mode....
