So am i understanding this right? The Studiorack is free. I can use Studioverse for vocal chains also free if I have those plugins installed already? No subscription?
@AudioTechTV4 күн бұрын
@@ST-fl5fy the studio rack is free. You can use it with Waves plugins or any other VST3 plugin. There’s no credit card needed or any subscription or anything. Just a free download.

NO TO SUBSCRIBTIONS!

Not sure what this video has to do with a subscription. If you like the plugins then buy them, don’t subscribe.

@@AudioTechTV your video is basically advocating it. And that’s troubling. Your basically perpetuating this nonsense.

When do I mention subscriptions in this video? The only troubling thing is when people make up stuff without even watching the video. You can make up whatever narrative you want but the real facts are that this video doesn’t tell anybody to subscribe to anything and if people like the waves plugins then just purchase a license for them. They are pretty inexpensive usually ranging between $19 -$39 with most of them at $29. If those prices are too expensive for you then move along to something else without making up stories. It’s that easy.

@@theopinions47what’s troubling about it? Is it morally wrong? Is it illegal? Do they lie to you? Do you not like it, and therefore everyone else must agree to not like it too?

Starter pack should just include all the one-knob plugins😅

I’m glad it doesn’t lol. Thank you for watching. Keep creating.

Are you serious?????? No one should be paying for subscriptions and the fact that this guy is advocating for this nonsense is telling. I moved away from hardware because of the ridiculous prices of hardware. Kids just starting out should get waveform or traction for free as a DAW get the Native Instruments Free Gear and the free blue cat plugins and get you a good midi controller and decent audio interface with midi built in and some other free gear and you will be alright. Stay away from subscriptions there is no need for this nonsense. People buying hardware gear paying monthly for is ridiculous. There are plenty of places like eBay and Reverb to get gear at better prices. Do your homework and don’t listen to these guys. Adobe started this nonsense and now everyone wants to do this crap.

This guy doesn’t mention signing up for subscriptions once. This guy also doesn’t tell people what they should do. This guy understands that everyone is different and they should use what ever they like even if it’s stuff that this guy doesn’t personally use.

YT guy: Hey look at these plugins YT comment guy: What you’re doing is morally wrong, and a better option for beginners is literal years of research on spatialized equipment and spending TONS of money on questionable used gear instead of just using reliable software from an established and respected company, because that’s what’s morally right

@@AudioTechTV after three months what comes next? Subscription service? Yes. You might say well you could just buy them all if you like. But this process leads you into subscription service if you can’t afford to buy them individually to recreate the process that he says that he uses. So although he doesn’t mention subscription service he does say it’s free for three months which when I checked it said free for 7 days. I’m telling people there is soooooo much free stuff to start off with that are really free to get the experience that you need before you upgrade to expensive software.

@@theopinions47you checked the wrong place then. It clearly shows on the front page of their site and on the page for the starter pack that it’s 3 months free not 7 days. If at the end of three months (which they’ve said they may actually extend) you still want to use some of the plugins. Purchase the ones you want to keep. If you can’t afford all of them, Purchase the ones you can afford and then wait until you can purchase the rest that you want. This is typical behaviour for people. If someone actually wants to subscribe to get all the waves plugins then they can do that but it’s not something you have to do. Using waves plugins isn’t something you are forced to do so nobody is forcing anyone to purchase or subscribe to anything. It’s a choice that people have. Different people appreciate different options. By saying someone is promoting subscriptions because you can’t afford to purchase the plugins is ridiculous. If anything if you can’t afford these plugins but you like them it should prompt you to search for something free or cheaper that can replace them. Again like normal behaviour. Just because a video shows how to use products that you can’t afford doesn’t mean that it’s promoting to subscribe to a service. Not everyone is in the same financial position as you or has the same sense of entitlement.
