Mixomnia's Mixperiments Vol. 1: Atmospheric Drum & Bass

Mixomnia's Mixperiments is a new series in which we will be exploring unfamiliar music genres. Every episode will feature a mix in a new genre, from which I will select some of my favourite tracks.
For this first episode, we will be experimenting with 'Atmospheric Drum & Bass', also known as Intelligent Drum & Bass or Ambient Jungle. It is a more ambient type of Drum & Bass, which was most popular in the 90's. It contains influences from jungle, breakbeat and jazz, but overall keeps a laid-back feeling. Listen to this mix on a soundsystem with good bass response, and most importantly, enjoy!
