Mixpanel vs. Google Analytics - What are the differences?

Mixpanel and Google Analytics are Tracking tools for your Website or mobile app. But what are their differences and when should you be using one or the other?

Great video. Question though, is it worth adding same tracking code to both your marketing site and apps (web+mobile)? Is there any benefit to doing that? Can you track better funnels? Or would you track separately still with GA for pre sign up and mixpanel for post sign up?

Interesting. The GA Terms of Service - Privacy states you can't report user details such as emails. That is: "will not assist or permit any third party to, pass information to Google that Google could use or recognize as personally identifiable information". Yet, in MixPanel you can?

Yep, Google limits this but most tools including Mixpanel don't. It looks like Google does it for privacy issues.

How to solve this error?. Mixpanel error: The Mixpanel library has already been downloaded at least once. Ensure that the Mixpanel code snippet only appears once on the page (and is not double-loaded by a tag manager) in order to avoid errors.Please let me know how to solve this.Looking forward to your reply

Isn't this all can be done with ga + gtm Plus user id feature for logged in user or assigning of to your email list which in turn can be used as user id in ga
