There's another method for question at 1:11:10 , which I found really easy and effective. Ratio was given as 2:3 and type 1= 15/kg and type 2= 20/kg. So you can directly calculate the portions of the types and add them. Type 1= 15*2/5= 6 and Type 2= 20*3/5= 12. Adding both we get, 6+12= 18.

Hi Sir I have a doubt. How we know that the ratio we calculated represents what eg a person purchased pen and pencil of rs 15 . He sold pen at profit at 20% and pencil at 30% and total profit is 24% , and ratio comes out to be 3:2 how to know that is selling price or cost price ratio
