Raaaaiiiiggghhhhhtttttt. So far this is one of your best videos. You cleared the concepts so well and explained that lots of my doubts got cleared especially sweeping through the muddy area I always used to do it in highs and high mid. I don't really know the point of disliking the video, but men this is a gem.

This is one of the best videos for explaining eq but for someone to understand this well need 1) good quality headphones to understand and hear the minute changes. 2) need some practice eqing vocals or other instruments. Personally I was making some mistakes which were highlighted in this video. I will try to apply this to my songs and should definitely make a difference. Thanks a lot for this video. Really appreciate your work. keep it up.

But that's not the whole story. Depends in the relationship with other instruments, also the levels at which it's being listened at. The sampling rate(fourier algorithm used) too makes it even more complicated... Every boost or cut absolutely brings it in out phase .. keep in mind it's binary form of data.. so be careful. Appreciate your work...

1. Use Low Cut 2. Use Narrow Bands to Cut / Broad Bands to Boost 3. Always Boost Relative to Other Tracks and Not in Solo 4. Don't Sweep in Highs 5. Always Compare (A/B)

Raight, Sir I was watching your videos from long time ek bar apne mera comments community post me b dala tha jab mene fl studio k tutorials k bare me puchha tha, abhi sir fl studio me nahi banaoge to chalega pr please vocal processing me master class banado like karaoke k sath b mix karoge to chalega bs vocal me kitna reverb and delay rakhna he and jo feel he like bollywood song me music aur vocal alag sunai dete he wesa patern kese kre mene bahut track kiye mix pr itna professional nahi hua ek request for vocal processing master class, Thankyou for making awesome content.
@nikhilsingh14933 жыл бұрын
Everything (reverb, eq, compression etc) differ with genre, taste and the music you are working on. (For example: for pop comercial track you want your vocal to be super upfront so you need less reverb while in some emotional song you might need more reverb. It's all about feel, emotion. There are no universal settings for mixing process, you have to find yourself what works for you. Mixing is way more advance than tweaking some knobs. You have to find your own way
