Hey! In the middle of May 2023, I got introduced to you from another friend. And I just HAVE to say as a blind person: HOLY MAZZILLO! Your voice captured my auditory attention as a blind person because of how HOT your vibrato is!!! It almost reminds me of two of my favorite singers, and definitely look them up if you haven't heard of them before. Madilyn Bailey for one, and Lauren Alvarez for the other. Madilyn Bailey and Lauren Alvarez both have the HOTTEST VIBRATO EVER! As a blind person, looks of course don't mean a thing, so my best alternative to a girl looking hot is how hot her vibrato is for me. BTW, when I said 'Mazzillo', that's the name of the best Italian bagpipe maker in history, and yes, there are such things. It' be cool if you sampled his music in your next song LOL. I badly wish you could put links in KZbin comments but I made a playlist of the only extant recordings of Mazzillo as well as other people playing his instruments. Just type in "Mazzillo Italian bagpipes", but do make sure you spell Mazzillo right haha.

But no, Since elementary school, blind people are taught to use a computer which has a piece of software that converts text to speech, and it tells you exactly what you're typing letter for letter as well. We've been trained since at least first grade in this, so we know it just like sighted people do. In fact, when you're blind from birth, you're so used to everything being adapted that you just take it for granted. Does that answer your question?

@@beingpsy9655 Yeah! But from a musical aesthetic point of view, I rate singers based on how amazing their vibrato is. Singers with quicker vibratos, like Lauren Alvarez or Madilyn Bailey, tend to have a more amazing tone to my ear. This is because - get this, I play the bagpipes! - in bagpipes, the faster finger-vibrato a piper has (there's no air-vibrato) the more dexterous their fingers are. So you'd think that if someone can do a vibrato at a faster pace it shows they've had more practice with it. Don't get me started on the all too famous singers with vibratos so slow that they just sound like a yelp siren! And the super popular singers such as TSwift or Sabrina Carpenter, they're not my favorite 'cause their vibratos are just so-so. If they had vibratos like Lauren or Madilyn,then I'd be crazy about them too. I just don't see how tons of people are crazy about someone whose singing voice sounds "average" compared to a less famous artist. Maybe it's entirely a look-based thing which increases the gap between what blind people can appreciate and what sighted people can appreciate? I also don't like how most people rate singers, and I said SINGERS, based entirely on looks alone. For me, that's incredibly disrespectful because they don't have any idea what goes into their singing voice at all. I'd hate to see the day where Lauren Alvarez gets a thumbs down in favor of a singer with no vibrato whatsoever.

My least favorite people are people who ONLY comment on the visuals with absolutely NO RESPECT WHATSOEVER for the audio end of things, completely dismissing her voice, vocal technique, vocal prowess, etc. To me, these kind of people with no respect for what they hear are real ableists! As a blind person I face this all the time and all it does is just make me feel like the least-important person on the planet which nobody should ever care about, leaving me all alone to just not enjoy anything anymore!
